Cheap Dates
Okay, here’s the deal.
I was hoping this site would be a collaboration between my son and I - the former being the actual Cheap College Dude and the later being the one who mysteriously goes by the “Geezer” moniker. But it’s summer and between work, play, and WOW the Cheap College Dude has been largely absent from this project and I’ve been on my own in coming up with content. Having been happily married for over 23 years I haven’t had the recent need to go on a ten dollar date, but I’m convinced it must be doable, hence my decision to dedicate a whole section of this site to that very thing. But as you can see, I have nothing yet. Nada.
Help me out guys and gals (yes I actually do use “gals” in normal conversation) - submit fun dates that can be done for ten bucks or less. In fact, that’s this summer’s contest.
Judging is totally subjective to the whims and whorls of the honorable Geezer and whoever else I elect to consult. The judging criteria may be totally immaterial to the subject at hand. All decisions are final. Don’t even think about suing us over this nonsense - my lawyer is bigger than yours and will make your life miserable - won’t you Jimmy? (Dat’s right boss)
So, go ahead, take a chance on a hundred bucks (we’re new, how many entries can there be?) and submit your best $10 date here.

The best date I was ever on was less than $10.00. For the cost of two fountain Cokes we spent the evening on the beach building our own living room funiture out of sand. After completing construction we had a very comfortable sofa to sit on watch the waves and stars. The matching foot rest was nice, but the side tables must be solid to be a formitable drink holder.
